PDFY Pro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026 · English version

PDFY Pro processes your PDFs on your device. Local editing does not upload or track your files. Choosing “Save to Cloud” explicitly uploads the result to your private library.

1. Scope and operator

This notice describes PDFY Pro’s current features. The operator’s legal name, address, country and dedicated privacy contact must be supplied before public launch. Until those details are completed and this notice is reviewed, it is a template, not a guarantee of GDPR compliance. Use Contact Us for privacy questions.

2. Local PDF processing

Viewing, merging, splitting, rotating, compressing, converting, protecting and editing run in your browser. PDFY Pro does not send the contents of locally processed PDFs to a server for these operations or track those files. Recent outputs remain in the current tab’s memory and disappear when the tab closes or reloads. Downloaded copies remain on your device until you delete them.

3. Optional accounts and cloud library

If you create an account, the service processes your email, authentication details and, where provided by your sign-in service, profile name and avatar. Only an explicit “Save to Cloud” uploads an output. Cloud storage includes that file and library metadata such as filename, size, page count and thumbnail. Access is restricted to your account through access controls; this is not a claim of end-to-end encryption.

4. Feedback and service data

When you submit feedback, PDFY Pro stores your category, message, optional email, current page path and submission time so support can respond and improve the service. Do not submit confidential document contents. Hosting, authentication and storage providers may process connection data such as IP addresses and technical logs. Local file privacy does not mean the website collects no personal data.

5. Cookies, browser storage and third parties

Browser storage remembers your language, theme and sign-in session. These support preferences and account access. PDFY Pro loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google and may disclose connection data. Google sign-in, if used, is governed by Google’s own privacy notice. This launch update does not add advertising or marketing trackers. Advertising or non-essential analytics require a separate assessment and, where required, consent before loading.

6. Purposes, legal bases and retention

Account and optional library data are used to provide the service you request; operational security and support may rely on legitimate interests where applicable. Optional marketing requires its own lawful basis. Cloud files remain until you delete them through your library. The operator must confirm specific retention periods for accounts, feedback, logs and backups, identify providers and hosting locations, and assess any international-transfer safeguards before launch.

7. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your local data-protection authority. Submit requests through Contact Us; do not send identity documents unless support requests them through a suitable secure channel.
